Wood ID (antique sideboard)

Hi All, I'm renovating an old sideboard and wondered if you'd be able to help me and take a guess at the type of wood here.

Looks like Ash to me.

Red oak gets my vote.

Pretty confident that is European Oak rather than Red Oak. Grain pattern looks wrong for ash and you can see very oak-like medullary rays on some of the pieces.

Second the comment about wire wool or any other ferrous shavings/dust/etc. as iron will cause the timber to react/stain
