Hi All
I have an old DW125 with what seems not an uncommon problem. The wires to the winding rotted and shorted out on the casing. I soldered some new sections and slipped sheathing over the deteriorating rubber in an attempt to get a bit more use out of it. For a while it worked, but then shorted out again. I have bypassed the cut out switch as this looked and felt like it wasn't resetting anyway. Now when I switch it on I get nothing. I just wanted to check that I hadn't wired it up incorrectly. Does anyone have, or can sketch a wiring diagram? I can find parts manuals, but these don't have a wiring diagram. The on off switch is fine and it's a new capacitor.
Thanks in advance

I might have a wiring diagram somewhere, will check in the morning.
In the meantime these may be helpful, if you need more images, just shout.

Sorry for the late reply
Thank you Noel. It looks like I have re-wired correctly. That's a shame, as I'd hoped that was the problem. Any suggestions on what to check next as it is dead, although the live has juice to it when switched on and doesn't when it's off, which suggests the switch is okay. Are there any serviceable parts in the motor itself?
