willow any good to turn ?

I have been offered some willow logs.So before i waste my time seasonimg it is this good for turning as i seem to recall someone saying its too soft.
 
It's very wet and thereefore soft but as someone has said it does depend on the type of willow. Do a search for willow on the turning forum to find more info.

I have turned some now and yes, it was wet, but green wood is. Turned nicely (for me, as a beginner) and time will tell has to how it dries. Give it a go!
