Hiya all, Just went back to posts of 2004 and guess what they were talking about!! Sharpening tools . What was the best way ? and what were the best Jigs.
I suppose if I were to go back to when the fourm began it would still be the same, and still no one would agree I suppose it will never change.
But it keeps the old mind active trying to figure out which is the best, and only I know, what were we talking about?
HAPPY EASTER TO ALL, REgards Boysie.

Happy Easter to you too Eugene ....
And yes, I reckon you're probably right !

Come back in 3 years time,... be the same !

But by then, Tam will be raving about his new Tormek ( fat chance ha ha ha      )

Don't eat the sweeties out your egg, keep them for tomorrow

Doubt that very much 'r kid!

I still have too much of my up-bringing in me to go spending cash like that, even if I have left the land of my birth.

Good point Boysie... anyone care to guess how many time the wheel has been invented in each generation ...it's cyclic

Boysie went for a job:

Oh! ...Essex...... :p

My favourite song:

We sailed on the slurp John B.....

Doing my best to avoid it Graham, not easy around here, Tigers training ground and after match bacon butties for lunch was a bit of true Brit though.

Eugene .. if you have the urge to delve deep into the archives for such references to sharpening etc. any chance of making a list of any threads you find that have some meat in them regarding sound advice, might be worthwhile putting a list link up on the info. page just in case a new starter should look at the stickies with a desire to read them before asking all the same questions.

Nice one Graham, I get plenty of practice of "Singing in the Rain" over here.
How long have you been waiting to get that one off your chest?

Chas. will keep an eye out for something of intrest as Nelson said to his crew.
