I bought a shoulder plane kit from Aled.

Its now finished and I'm very pleased with the result.
The kit meant I'd got a start & all the boring cutting out bits were already done.
First metal work project for about 30 years - learnt a lot & will probably have another go with something a bit bigger.
Was an interesting exercise & I have a useable plane at the end
Highly recommended.

Was wondering how others had got on?

Sounds great Jim. Let's hope you can get pics up, some people are getting tetchy.

Seriously, I'm glad that you enjoyed the build, and that you have an usefull tool at the end of the day. I'm sure that you'll find that you use it on so many jobs.

If you have any feedback, please let me know, either on the forum, by PM or e-mail, so that I can adress any issues in the future.

Cheers

Aled

Sadly with looking after our two youngest Granddaughters, have been unable to venture into the shop for a while - however I have cut the dovetail bevels on one side!!
