Hi Coley, no but I think I know where..... you were going............ RobinBHM in his reply to my post, Machining Ovolo Moulding With Fillets, said, " In a double glazed sash, there isnt enough room for a big flat on the moulding, its usually reduced to help fit in the the double glazing unit. Therefore the elongated Ovolo typical of traditional windows is not suitable for double glazing. Modern window have a more shallow ovolo, sometimes just a radius " I'm thinking like the cutters you had made up for your window tutorial?

The reason I'm asking? See my other post I'll put up in a few minutes.

Mike Jordon said in reply to, Machining Ovolo Moulding With Fillets, said the profile needed to correctly run the moulding shown. I would need, a 96 x 55 x 30 Bore Alloy Limiter Head and an Ovolo moulding cutter no 1203

all of which I've have bought.

I got these for running a mould on my replacement front door I'm going to make, see photo
I'll have to run the mould and rebate separately, relying on precise lining up. Part of the door will need to have slots machined for the flats of the raised panels to fit in and a rebate for stained, carved glass to fit into. .... not quite sure how I go about machining slots in stiles and rails, then rebate for window glass :) Will ask the forum when I get nearer to doing it.
Or perhaps the Whitehill limiter head and Ovolo cutter I've bought would be OK for window double glazed sash......... dunno :)

You can run a groove the full length of the stile, then do a stopped rebate where necessary. It'll just remove part of the groove you ran right through. So longs your grooves no deeper than the rebate it won't matter.

It's not uncommon to machine moulds and rebates seperately. It's also not uncommon to have shoulders on the tenons different lengths (so not square shoulders)
If it were for the double glazing, I use a rebate block followed by a few spacers than a euro block with an 'off the shelf' cutter that smashes it all out in one pass. Then an off the shelf scriber for the tenoner which takes care of that. Nice to see your sashs coming together- looks really good!
