Hi,

I'm after some advice please.

I'm going to try and fix a mirror to my daughter's wardrobe door, however I want to replace the current hinges attached to the door to the type that will fully open the door so she can face it (hope Ive described this right)

I'm sure there's a Blum hinge?, is it a 180 or 360 degree?, I'm sure you'll know what type I need.

Also, are these a standard size where I can take the old ones off and screw the new one's on?

Also would you know where I can buy these at a reasonable price (I need 3)

Thanks

Sounds like you need the 165 degree hinges. Screwfix sell them or try ebay or if desperate b+q etc

It should be a standard 35mm hole in the door, check first as you can get a smaller type, think it is about 27mm? More often than not though, most are the standard 35mm size :)

Sorry if this is teaching a duck to suck eggs but...

That door is going to be heavy when said mirror is fixed so make sure the screws are well fitted.

Is it possible to mortice / rout in some Soss hinges ? Depends on the thickness of the timber and if you already have drilled Blum holes I suppose. Ironmongery Direct have a range of them. Geoff
