Hello,

I'm a new member who makes R/C Model aircraft. I've had a Delta scroll saw for a few years now which I'm more than happy with but am now looking to get a bandsaw to accompany it.

After some web research I've narrowed down my choices to a Delta 28-185 and Rexon EBS250A, however, I'm open to any other suitable choices that are sub £200ish. The machine will be primarily used to cut balsa up to 1/2" thick and ply up to around 3/8" thick.

I'm pretty sold on the Rexon so far but I've been unable to locate on stockists in North Yorkshire/North east England so far to allow me to go and have a look at one, if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be grateful.

Thanks

I used to have the Delta one many years ago and found it great for small scale stuff. it is still working well too as I sold it to a friend of mine who still uses it.

Model aircraft ...hence the name Extra 260 no doubt. Welcome to the forum I'm afraid I don't know about the particular bandsaws you mention, but I have been into model aircraft and have a CAP232 with an OS61FX amongst many others, but haven't flown for a year or so due to other commitments.

Alan
