Spent most of the day changing the oil seals in motorcycle forks, then cutting big chunks of 1/2" and 1/4" steel plate into more manageable bits with a brilliant Evolution circular saw that I bought a year ago to do this job, and just got around to using. Resting my back now, though to be fair, the missus did more lifting than I did. Got a Captain Kirk portrait to cut now to go with the Spock I did a few weeks ago.
Watched incredible motorcycle racing finale this weekend. We now have a Brit World Superbike champ in Tom Sykes. The British crown was also lifted today by Alex Lowes in the last thrilling race of the season, last week his identical twin brother won the World Supersport championship. Both just 23! We still have a chance of the Moto2GP crown with Scott Redding who was 20 points in the lead but broke his wrist in practice yesterday. Hopefully he will be back and able to get some points next week in Japan. He's now 16 points down. A great day's entertainment. The season is almost done now so I can get off the chair and into the shop!!!
