Hi.

Just spied these 'Furniture moving wheels' on the Lidl website.

No idea what they're like but with a load capacity of 150kg each, they might be worth a punt for sticking under heavy workshop kit?

Just a thought.

cheers.

I bought some a while ago.

I fixed two sets to the rear of my TS stand (a home made ply box) and a wide strip of wood of similar height to the front.
To move the table it just needs a slight lift at the front edge and it scoots along.
I move this about very frequently and to be quite honest expected the wheels to pack up - but they have been fine ( three years later)

Done something similar to the cabinet that the router table sits on, but thus far have not needed to move it much.

I have moved lots of heavy and large stuff on sets of these, the only thing you need is a smooth floor. They are very small wheels so don't like lumps or holes in the surface.

I bought a load of the Lidl kits the other day. I want to put them under my staking boxes, so I can move them out the way when I want to use my TS.
I am going to pop the black round bit out and fit the wheels to a piece of ply, which will then go under the boxes (stacked 4 high full of materials). By taking the black bit out they will not swivel but the wheels don't seem to lend themselves to swivelling when under load anyway.
