What worktable / surface arrangements are popular with pros for cabinet installations? MFT/3 appears a bit big, I know there’s a smaller version but I don’t believe it’s that popular ? Looking for something suitable for clamping to and making track saw cuts, jig saw cuts too

Check out the Bora centipede with folding MFT top. I have no experience of it but I think it looks really good as a compact solution for that type of work 👍

I made my own installs bench years ago, and did a couple of builds - one an ultralight version - not so long back, videos here and here. The advantage of a bench with legs attached vs eg a Bora centipede or MFT top on trestles is that you can pick it up and move it around easily - something I found I needed to do frequently on an install as you’re always tight on space.

The problem with the Festool MW1000, Tim Willmots MFTC and any of the other mobile workbench things on wheels is that they’re great on the ground floor, but you have to strip them down to get them upstairs - which is how I ended up making my own. 🤷‍♂️👍

Strangely enough your bench builds were the first things I thought of when I saw the OP's question - can't quite remember why I decided to recommend something completely different 😅

I like the Bora Centipede - I have 2 so I can spread them out. With some pipe clips you can attach the Centipedes to the top for easy carrying. And I added a couple of velcro straps to stop the Centipedes from magically expanding as you go 🤡
