Boom!
I want to write someones name on a box. It will be painted onto bare Oak (sanded to 180), and then need to be finished with something like Osmo or Danish oil.
What kind of paint should I use for this? bearing in mind that the Oak is quite open grained, so I assume it needs to be something quite thick, so as not to spread?

I have experimented with the Laser printer and cellulose thinner transfer trick, but it hasn't come out as clear as I would like due to the open grain.
