Ferrets - how could I have forgotten. You get immune to the smell it gets into the clothes, becomes pleasantly musky - other people think you stink! Also Kursaal!!!!! oh yesterday leave me alone.

the smell of raw (pre cat) exhaust from cars. sort of nice but sickening as well.

My mother bought me Aramis because she thought it smelled wonderful when my uncle wore it. The one time I wore it she said I smelled like cat's pee.

A smell that always reminds me of my dad. He always came home from work smelling the same
I had. A police mate once told me the drunks near the local shopping centre used to nick it and drink it, presumably a high alcohol content. At least they must have smelled nice

One of the many alcoholics I've known told me his favourite breakfast drink was aftershave and cooking sherry, mixed, and warmed up in the winter. He was a roofer.

The petrol fume laced exhaust smell of ‘70s sporty cars with their twin SU or Weber carbs.

In the early 70's I was an avid motorsport fan and a group of us used to frequently go to nearby Brands Hatch race track - the smell of the fuel additives they used back then is particularly memorable - I have no idea what they were but on the rare occasions I have been to race events recently it most certainly is missing and no doubt banned because of health risk, pollution and the like..
