Back in early May, I was looking for an acrylic circular centre finder/compass for large blanks. Plenty on Amazon, but then I discovered this thread from 2018 Plastic circular centre finder ? I started woodturning in 2020 and never visited this forum section before I got my first lathe.
I sent Jennie Starbuck an email enquiring about the finder and if she still had any or even sold them anymore. I was half expecting not to get to a reply as I'm some random stranger emailing her. To my surprise, I got a reply and after a few more emails (to sort out payment and postage) I was the grateful recipient of a large centre finder. Jennie refers to it as an indexer.
During the emails, she was very helpful and went to quite a bit of effort for me. Very appreciated, I'd just like to echo what the other members said in the other thread. I did bring that thread to her attention and was pleasantly surprised by the comments in there.
