Hi all

As it is so quiet on the football front I thought I'd just mention that Wales look to be on the verge of qualifying for the U21 Championships.

We've just had our fourth game where we scored four and this time it was against France.

In addition, we have seven players under the age of 21 in the first team and nine of the U21 team qualify at U19 level.

Oh and our first team also managed a 0-0 draw against Germany in Hamburg last night. Bliss.

Cheers,
Neil

But you didn't get through to the European championships.

Ahh, nor did we. :-(

Perhaps the BBC could be persuaded to show episodes of NYW in the slots where they scheduled all the England games :)

I think the key to enjoying football is to start off with low expectations, that way you won't be disappointed!!

We don't expect to qualify, so we are not disappointed when we don't.

England seem to expect to qualify for every tournament, and then when they (almost) inevitably don't, everyone is as sick as a parrot! :?

Don't get me started on rugby!!!
