watch out....

I was asked to look at a friends fuse board as the electric went on and off a few times then the next day it quit alltogether.....
this is what was found......
scary stuff...I thought the idea was for this electronic control to stopfire hazards..........!!!!!!!!!!!.

All to common now.

This was found today at a neighbours house.

The ground floor ring was tripping every few days.


The rust stain had a resitance of 0.3ohms. A short to earth.
It was traced to this plug in the conservaty, under the potted plants.

It was replaced. The breaker was inspected and it too was showing clear signs of burn out. That too was replaced.
