Wanted Tap and die

Hi everyone I'm looking for 1 1/4 Whitworth tap and die 10tpi many thanks for any help

That's a tall order - and I must congratulate you on your description!! - It's a non-standard (but you knew this already)

I can't even suggest who might make a pair for you - though Tracy Tools would get my first e-mail.

Since you are asking for both a Tap & a Die, is there any real reason that you need 10 tpi ?
1¼" BSF is 9 tpi, BSW is 7 and both would be much more likely to be available.

Hi thanks and yes un odd ball it's for my drummond lathe I want the tap to make a new Bach plate the die just to clean the spindle

Very specifically @Joebig16 did NOT think it was a BSW Thread! That is why he correctly described it as 1¼ " x 10 Whitworth - though he did show the tpi after the form which shouldn't really confuse anyone as to the meaning - he knew it was a Non-Standard.
