Wanted IBM Think Pad laptop

Bit of a long shot this.

I want to donate my IBM Think Pad lap top to a good cause but it needs a new video card. It's ten years old so IBM aren't interested and told me it'll cost a fortune to repair.

I just wondered if anyone has a broken one that could be cannibalised.

Failing that, does anyone know any web sites that I could go on to ask. I'm a bit dubius about going on 'Freecycle' 'cos I'm not in UK very often.

Any thoughts from anyone much appreciated.

Not necessarily - what model is it? We had a bundle of old ones when I last looked.
