For Sale Waney Edge Oak Board with Burr Northumberland Now Sold

A waney edge board of oak with lots of burr figure. This is a dry board ready for working (cut and stickered 5 years ago). The sapwood is not rotten allowing you to contrast it with the darker heartwood. Most of the bark has come away leaving a nicely textured surface underneath. The board is around 1 7/8 inch thick apart from a section towards the bottom that is around 2 1/2 inches (bandsaw blade was blunt and deflected!). It is 114 inches long (2.9m) and varies in width from 10 1/2 to 18 1/2 inches. Would make nice table tops. Best to come and view if interested, near Hexham, Northumberland. Priced at £120.

One plank is not enough for my needs, but you mentioned in PM you had other stuff ? I'm looking for some 2" at least 400m wide and 1.8m long minimum. 2 planks of that size or one of 800mm min wide.
