Another hobby is music, and I use a Mac and audio software to achieve (Ableton)
I bought an audio interface, which is something that connects between the computer and the speakers (I guess like a sound card in the old PC days!)
Anyway, its quite boring looking, and not overly tactile, so I thought about positioning it a bit better on my desk and came up with this stand.
Getting an idea for the angle.
Bits of walnut glued together to make a wider panel and some initial shape added - the base section has a v groove cut into it to allow the front to sit in there when on an angle
Radius template for the router used to round over the 2 ends to match the radius on the device
Small brace attached at the rear to keep the thing together, rounded over with router, and given a good sanding
Finished and installed - used OSMO Polyx satin
