Now, now Mark - that's just saw ****! They don't all have to look so gorgeous to be awesome to have and use. What are you working on at the moment?
 
:D The bizarre thing is that saw cost me £350. I'm not working on anything at the moment but have some really nice lumps lined up ready to be brought back from the dead. They are really rough but should come good with some tlc
 
Cool, I'm sure you'll do an awesome job on them (but remember; no pictures, it didn't happen).
I just picked up an old 12" planer thicknesser myself. English made with fixed tables and heavy cast iron construction all round, just the way I like them. I was looking at a BOAS at first but don't like the short tables. Managed to pick up a single phase Sedgwick MB with the 5' beds local to me and for a good price. I can't wait to strip it down and get cracking.

Not going to be on the lookout for a while but see an old planer thicknesser in my future.
