Sold Wadkin RB 9" Surface Planer

Nice solid machine dating from around 1946.

Obviously all cast iron, length of tables around 1500mm. Motor was replaced a year ago with a 3hp 1 phase from Tec motors. Large cutter block features 2 knives which are skewed slightly, gives a nice finish and some impressive shavings (replacements in HSS or TCT can still be bought online today). 3 sets of newly sharpended
HSS knives included.

Collection from Stonehaven area, NE Scotland, can be dismantled for ease of transport. Looking for £650 ONO.

Hi, interested, do you have any idea of rpm of block? If not pulley dimensions at block and motor would help as I could calculate the peripheral speed from given the motor plate. Chris
