Wadkin cutters

I've just acquired a large box of bits and pieces. After a sort out i have found these amongst all the stuff.

All of the cutters on the right are stamped wadkin. The tool post and cutters on the left have no name.

I suspect these are for a spindle moulder, I know I'm not brave enough to try any of them in my router table.

I am looking for advice.
Are they for a spindle moulder?
Are these valuable enough to offer for sale (i.e. worth more than the scrap value)?
If so, a ball park figure would nice.

each cutter is faced both ways, I dont think there are any paired.

The tooling is for a wadkin overhead router.

There are a few models, LS, UX, UR.

You might find the holder sought after and possibly the cutters as they arent made any more.

Overhead router like these were able to machine patterns as the bed of the machine had a pin allowing a template to be followed. Also straight parts could be machined using a fence.

Thanks robin, any idea where the best best place to advertise them might be? I dont know of any metal working sites.

They look like tooling for the LQ. I've just got a LQ 8) Most people are scared of the old tooling.

These cutters have a little value. They're mostly obsolete tooling*, but there are people who love old machinery. You won't retire on the sale of these, but you should get a pint or three from the proceeds of a sale.

* and therefore probably illegal in commercial use in some countries.

As they're for woodworking, a metalworking site would not be the right place.

Ok thanks, I might not bother due to them (and me) being in Cyprus. I suspect shipping costs will kill any possible deal.
I'll throw them back in the unwanted pile.

Yes, I shouldve mentioned, the cutters are not limited so wont be to current standards.

Overhead routers were once a very useful industrial machine for making furniture parts but have become obsolete since CNC technologies, I suppose from the 1980s or so

Wildman, I'd be happy with £20 for them. I could find out what postage would be from Cyprus, but if youre not in a hurry I will be in somerset in february, that would considerably reduce the postage.
