Yeah, Advanced Machinery Services (AMS, in Leicester) sell Chinese machines with a "Wadkin Bursgreen" badge on, you'll find several companies selling the same machine(s) with a different badge, some very minor differences and colour scheme! They do sell new parts for the older machines though, if you can stomach the price!

Daltons Wadkin (In Nottingham) sell "Wadkin" machines which some are the traditional Wadkin patterns such as the DM/V morticer, Later Model BRA Crosscut saws, and the C700 Bandsaw which are actually manufactured in the UK, They do a cheaper Wadkin line (E400 and E500 bandsaws) which I believe may be made in China (or maybe even Italy, they look very similar to Italian made bandsaws) but I could be wrong.

Depends whether you like Grey or Green I suppose! Or you could go for even darker Grey!

Most of the woodworking machinery suppliers around leicester claim to be ex-directors of wadkin - given how bloated the management was at the end there's a lot of them to go round. AMS trade out of whats basically old cow sheds on the A47. How the mighty have fallen....

This saw is made in Taiwan, no matter which name or colour you choose.. with options of different blade capacity. It was originally based on a Sedgwick TA450 /400 table saw. If you want more detailed pictures inside, let me know. I think Axminster are stopping them in their range so replacement parts might be more difficult from them.

It's actually the smaller version or equivalent I am looking at, I can't decide between a Sedgwick TA 315, Minimax SC3 (now SC2) or Startrite TS1. I work mostly in solid timber so the Sedgwick is the obvious choice but I do like a table that moves next to the blade. Do you do an iTECH version of the Sedgwick 315 with a sliding table, can't see it on your site? To be honest it will probably be a used machine I end up with, let me know when you get a nice used Sedgwick in at a good price ;)

The Startrite TS1 saw is being changed to Record Power branding as it is more recognised in Europe. Minimax SC3 and SC2 are actually different (sc2 is lighter duty). The Sedgwick is a great saw for solid wood, but no scoring. What is more important for you? We have some Sedgwick machines coming back in part ex in a couple of weeks time from someone downsizing.. I think there is a TA315 in the package. does It matter if it’s 3 phase or 1 phase for you? Message me if you’re interested.
