Hi Trextrmonkey,I was a bit suprised about string as I usualy use tie downs !Collected it on Monday. Not an allen cap screw in site, just as well I took some of my old whitorth spanners and sockets.Awkward but nothing rusted in. Signs of copper slip on threads.I took what I call my strong mate, which is a 750kg fold up crane that I use for so many jobs. The lathe could have been lifted into my Caravelle in one peice if I had more headroom. Not enough width to lay it down either. Anyway now got it home complete withseveral face plates, centres, jacobs drill chuck for the tailstock and an expensive looking RS safety switch on a long lead.Just got to put it all back together !Rgds Tim
Hi Trextrmonkey,
I was a bit suprised about string as I usualy use tie downs !
Collected it on Monday. Not an allen cap screw in site, just as well I took some of my old whitorth spanners and sockets.
Awkward but nothing rusted in. Signs of copper slip on threads.
I took what I call my strong mate, which is a 750kg fold up crane that I use for so many jobs.
The lathe could have been lifted into my Caravelle in one peice if I had more headroom.
Not enough width to lay it down either. Anyway now got it home complete with
several face plates, centres, jacobs drill chuck for the tailstock and an expensive looking RS safety switch on a long lead.
Just got to put it all back together !
Rgds Tim
