The Mark of True Quality

We are excited to announce the launch of our new range of Verum tools which includes hand planes, chisels, spokeshaves, marking tools and more. Wood Workers Workshop's owner, Peter Sefton, worked with our manufacturer to improve and perfect a new generation of bench planes, which we are proud to include under our Verum brand.

Verum No. 5 1/2 Jack Plane

Considered the 'jack of all trades' and the big brother to the No.5. It’s longer, wider and heavier, and that mass keeps going through the toughest of timbers. Perfect for wider timber preparation and flattening

@Peter Sefton The chisels look interesting. Affordable good quality socket handled chisels are different to the mainstream. Only problem is I have even more chisels than I need that I have planes :)
Yes I am very pleased with them, flat backs, fine lands and high angle side grinds, leaving plenty of steel in for strength but ground back to allow for dovetailing work.

Perhaps after Harrogate, as you must be neck deep in prep for the show, could you tell us something about the improvements you've made over Luban's standard planes ?

Thanks !
I'm very interested in this as well.
