Does anyone know the extension required with an Eclipse honing jig to achieve the 38 degree micro bevel needed for the iron.

...which will give you an EP of 50deg (but you knew that ) - Rob

You could also just hone that blade to 40 degeeswhich shows on the veritas gauge, it will give you a cutting angle of 52 degrees.
