I have just used the above to cramp up a picture frame and thought I would give it quick review.

I was going to get another flexible band clamp but saw this one and gave it a go - Well for once I am impressed with its nice simple design, no mucking about it works.

The end.

Hello mate

Axminster, or Rutlands, do the same clamps. And yes, they do work well. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that the angled thread sometimes slipped on mine. I have 3 and they all slip. Perhaps the Veritas one is better made? Any problems with switching from the slide angle to the lock, and then getting a good fix?

Gotta say, I was suprised at the price diff in what was essentially a length of threaded rod with some funny nuts.

Thanks

Neil

Hello Neil,

I have done a few frames now and they have not slipped once, when the brass nuts are tightened up they seem to bite quite well so at the momment I am still impressed.

Cheers, Merlin
