Hi All,
These two have really been a game of slowly , slowly catchee monkey!
Paid for them 3 months ago on spec and have waited for them to come 1/4 the way round the world to my clammy mitts!

Can't wait to get them cleaned up, I have a nice shiny new R Iles iron for the 10 1/4 and will make a set of totes as the originals are nice and I want them to stay that way!
The 51/52 does not have its hold down but I am assure that it is coming later - maybe! :(
Two quite rare items in one go, bit of a red letter day.
Now hoping the rest of the contents, including a 444 with box & cutters and a Norris will come the same way and not end up on the 'Bat.
Cheers,
Martin

Hi, Martin

Wow!!!!

Nice one, that a couple of cracking planes. Can we ask how much?

Pete

Wow indeed! =P~

They look in good nick, especially the 51/52 which I would love to find one day. How have you tracked them down?

Cheers, Ed

Pete,
Can't say as my missus reads this sometimes and shortly afterwards I would be out in the drive looking for my nuts as they rolled away down the hill.....
Ed,
A relentless but hopefully polite harassment of the owners wife involving an estate, two 'advisors' and a lot of luck.
Martin

Yes.. Awesome captures.
So I am now going to make a pattern, because I want a Stanley Shooter! I'll never get one on the market so I better make one!

Nope!
Not jealous!
Not a jot!
Not even a teeny bit!

- he said, slowly turning green and watching his nose get longer and longer!

A truly awesome haul Martin. Part of me wishes someone would start making these again and another part of me doesn't want to know how much they would cost.

Congratulations,

Matthew
