Grabbed a bit of shed time today, which seems to be a rare occurence lately :D
I made this small bowl from an off cut of what I think is Sepele, from a bag of hardwood bits and bobs my uncle brought me(he has a guy that makes doors etc just up the road from him and leaves his offcuts outside labelled free!) :D
I wanted to make something a bit different and went for this flying saucer shape. Its 5" wide, sanded down to 6oo grit, with a coat of cellulose sanding sealer and finally polished by hand with woodwax22.

Your Critique good or bad much appreciated.

Cheers JT

Hi Johnny
I really like the shape and something different from the norm, and a lovely piece of wood and finnish, I think the black lines enhance the unusual shape.
What are the rough dimensions please as I would like to have a go my self if you don't mind.
Thanks Dave

like your last shape, i really love this too. Like the other post before i like the colour and the black lines really show it off a treat, can you put something in the shot for size comparison, i like to know how big these offcuts are..

Agreed, looks like Sepele to me.
I like it, the shape, the burn lines, It's different.
