Hi my husband has just acquired a Tyme Cub Wood Lathe and just really wants to know how you change the speed

No experience of the Lathe but I would say looking at The Images Here you slaken the 'T' Bared nut and pivot the motor forward towards the headstock to slacken the belt whilst moving it to a different set of pulleys.

As Chas said above.
Dead easy and much quicker to change speed than on most of these modern mini lathes.
Speeds are 480, 800, 1250 and 2000 rpm.
I have had my Cub for just over a year and have been very happy with it.
Watch out if you buy any bits for the head & tail stocks. The blurb says its a nr 1morse taper, but mine has 2MT on both.

I've also just bought an early Tyme cub , which has a 1 Morse taper/20mmx2m spindle. Seems that they vary.
Does anybody know where I can get hold of an extended bowl rest?
