Came down to the joinery today (Good Friday) as it is in bad need of tidying. In the spirit of avoiding that and more general procrastination I dragged these two items out.
I bought both of these on ebay since covid. At the time work was absolutely crazy with all the home offices which were suddenly required and I was waiting for a part for the big dust extractor which does the whole place and didn’t want to stop production. So they were stopgaps.
I used the one with the cloth bag at the top on the table saw for several months. It works exactly as it should. I moved the other one around the room to various machines. This also runs exactly as it should; please note the last photo as I have the top bag for this one as well.
Both are about 20 years old and I think I paid £120 and £130 on ebay and I hope I could probably get something like that again. I will list them the weekend after this one on ebay but members of this forum can buy either one or both for £90 each in the meantime. I think thats a bargain but I am sure I will be told if I am wrong. I am away from the workshop next week but am only working a few houses away if you want to come and pick them up I can meet you. I am on the Essex/Suffolk border just up from Colchester. I will help you lift them into your vehicle - they aren’t that heavy - but I don’t have time or inclination to put them on pallets and get them shipped off sorry.
