I'm building some alcove cabinets for a customer and they want a TV lift in one side, probably only a 40" screen, any advice on a good lift?

I've used a couple from tv-lifts.co.uk in the past and they were nothing but trouble.

Would rather not pay Future Automation type prices.

Would be handy if you could turn the tv towards the centre of the room once lifted but not essential (guess this could cause a problem if you didn't straighten again it before lowering 😕).

Thanks, Doug

A microswitch/proximity switch could probably be fitted somewhere to ensure the TV is back in the correct position. This would need a relay and power supply as well.

OK I bought one of these about five years ago and have not taken it out of the box, my wife looked at the mock up for the piece of furniture and rejected it.
I now consult authority before spending.
Mike.
