Rolling drawer tool box

Anyone know of rolling drawer tool boxes and tall drawer units available in the UK? I know Flex, Klein, Milwaukee and QBRICK make these, but I have not been able to find these in the UK. I have 7 DeWalt TSTAK units and have been moving my tools to the TSTAK drawers but some tools are too big for the DWST1-70705 deep drawer unit. DeWalt tell me they have no plans for a rolling drawer tool box nor a very tall drawer unit, so I am thinking of converting a 70705 to accomodate bigger tools, much like Oliver Bradshaw has to a 2 drawer DeWalt Toughsystem in at 5:47. Alternatively I might try making a 305mm/12" tall drawer TSTAK from wood. I see many on the Internet have made a Systainer from wood.

I want to move to drawers because of the easy access they allow to all units in a stack, the less floor space they use in a workshop & job site and because they allow the stack to be wheeled straight out of a workshop for transportation. They overcome the disadvantage of toolbox systems requiring the upper boxes to be unclipped to access contents in lower boxes. Drawers also eliminate the need for shelving that is often built in workshops to provide access to a box, that would be on the bottom if stacked.

There are some good youtube reviews comparing all the available and not available drawer systems. Incuding load test with weights in them to see how the drawer bottoms sag and scrape.

Some dewalt and some milwaukee are readily available. No idea if the rolling base platforms for them are or not. Not hard to make either way.

Personally, the range I want to see is the Toughbuilt one which includes some drawer units. Staktech or whatever it's called has been out for a while now but if it does get here, it still has to be affordable....

Could you elborate on "Not hard to make either way."? Are you meaning you think it would be straightforward to construct a DeWalt TSTAK look alike to my own specification? If so, I would welcome any pointers to get me started as it is not something I feel at all confident to construct.

I think sideways was probably talking about the rolling base.

I've made my own - board, castors and a lip that holds things from sliding off, also holes to allow the little feet on the tstak to sink in. It works fairly well, though nothing is truly locked onto the base
