I took my router out of its table yesterday and did some round-overs on some long edges. I have to say as much as I love the Tra001 it's a big old beast for using by hand. I think I might treat myself to something a little smaller for hand use.

I did have in mind the of1400 but I'm now wondering if the 1010 might be better. It just annoying though as all my cutters are 1/2 inch so with the 1010 I'd be buying them all again.

If you have the big Triton for the router table the OF1010 will be a nice lightweight addition for the smaller tasks.
Dust extraction when hooked up to a decent extractor is superb.

As I have posted before, for hand held work I can't fault the Draper Expert, its see through base plate and three LED lights make hand held work easy, I now have two of them.

I also have Triton routers that get very little use now days.

For the odd job cheap 1/4" cutters are as cheap as chips.

Imo there's 2 ways to go here, most of the big companies make a cheap 1/4" router/trimmer for close to £100 or a bit more. They all see OK, some have extra plunge bases available (and other options) but are not necessarily the most refined of tools. Or spunk £350 odd on a of1010 kit.... :D

Have you seen the recent talk of the Katsu 1/4" router, Makita clone/rebadge, ~ £35 on Amazon. Very well thought of, Dodge has three IIRC.

I have seen those and confess not really considered one but for a bit of round over work might be sensible.
