Hope this is the right sub-forum, more of a help post than a review, but might be helpful to others if considering buying.

So, drill poised to add a missing hole, thought I would confirm first with anyone else who has one.

Is it really true that Triton have decided NOT to provide a hole in the table insert for the above table height adjuster on the router? Given it's a Triton router in a Triton table I would have considered it common sense for them to have put one in for me.

Oh, and the assembly instructions are sub par to say the very least, but I think I have managed it. Just a few leftover springs and things.

Thanks in advance.

I too have that set up and find it quite easy to change cutters etc. from under the table --- i:e One have to switch the router of from under and is also useful for the Micro adjuster, so never bother about the lack of hole for the adjuster. I do not think they do the hole anyway
Very pleased with the router though. Further more if I were to drill a hole it's bound to be in the wrong place !!???

Cheers Timber, didn't think I would have a duff one, was just surprised at the lack of forward thinking on their part. Especially considering Kreg make an insert for this router and I think even that has the hole in it.

There's an indent on the base of the router to allow the adjusting "stick" to pass, so theoretically, that's where the hole needs to be drilled, if you are so inclined.

The above table bit changing is pretty cool I have to say, took me a while to figure out that the on/off switch needs to be off so the clear slide plate covering the switch can be slid back before the router will plunge to full depth allowing the auto stop button at the base to engage. Unless anyone has seen one of these routers, this is all gobbledegook. I understand there's a mod for that sliding cover. I don't want to be messing around under the table, I bought the table so it had the NVR switch on it ready to go.

If I do it, I'll take some measurements and update this in case anyone else fancies drilling too.

You can indeed by a Kreg plate pre-drilled for the micro-adjuster which was of vital importance for me and now I have t I find it easier to micro-adjust from beneath the table!

The interlock on the switch seems a real pain at first but having experienced just how easy it is to catch the NVR and switch the router on accidentally I appreciate what a great safety feature it is.

I thought the microswitch next to the collet that gets flicked when the router is fully plunged switches off the possibility of turning the router on? Part of the advertised features? Or is it that the switch does nothing and is reliant on the fact that the router physically won't plunge until the power switch slider is pulled across?

I have a MOF001 not TRA001 so maybe not a feature on mine.

Right on, perhaps true. I'll leave it in place, it's not that annoying...not as much as the hole that's missing.

I'll fetch my drill.
