Well, oof, that hurt
Thats me to a T. I'd kill to become an apprentice now, and being an IT guy for most of my working life is not helping. And yeah, sticking IT woodworking wannabees onto cnc of some sort would work wonders, me thinks. Especially those that had SOME similar experience. I'm of signmaking/graphics/IT background, but never shied away from using machinery - printers/plotter-cutters, now a laser cutter and planning on building my own cnc router as no one will let me to use it for work.
