Has anyone made a pvc trailer cover?

I'm wondering what glue to use on the corners.

I think you’ll find - long term, that the only successful way is to stitch it. Sorry.
But years ago I did something similar and used the sort of copper wire you use for lamps, lasted for years. Ian

If it will take a leather needle you might be able to do it but if you are only doing 40mm on each corner hand sewing wouldn't take long. A sharp awl, waxed cotton yarn and a couple of sailmakers needles is all you need. Look up saddlery sewing for the technique.

I was thinking by the time I buy the PVC, thread, needles, glue, heat gun, eyelet kit and cord and spend ages to produce a less than perfect product. the first one, at least is usually not perfect or sometimes even near.

So I went online and of course there's loads of small trailer covers for £18 and up, but mine is a discontinued model so only one place has 2 left for £30 + £16 postage.

More than I fancied but I hit buy it now anyway.

The price immediately jumps to £36 and £19.50 for delivery.

So I contact the seller and he says ebay now considers NI to be in the EU hence the problem.

So should I post this, here, in the mainland thread or the brexit one?

Bags 4 everything could be worth a call, their prices are pretty good but don't know what the shipping situation is now

I don’t think eBay officially considers NI to be in the EU. The issue is couriers (and some sellers), other than RM, being confused/taking advantage/sticking their arm/thinking NI is same as Irl etc.
Find another seller if you can, old model trailer or not, surely basic sizes are still available?

PS- Screwfix do covers but no idea if they would suit your trailer

It really is amazing how I managed to pick an oddball discontinued trailer, but the dealer seems a sound bloke I think we can sort something out.

I sold some pipe clamps on fleabay, the buyer turned out to be in NI. Due to the weight & length (1 m+) I used UPS & had to fill in forms in triplicate then wondered when NI moved to mainland Europe! After that I excluded sales from off-shore UK.
