I bought my Festool TS55 and a few other items from Toolsave on the 22nd Feb. I wasn't given an invoice for the items and have asked many times but still nothing. I had to send of a copy of the invoice to extend the warranty from one year to three years and i hope the basic email copy i got will be good enough. The email copy was just a summary of what had been ordered and a total price at the bottom, no company details, order number or anything.

I have not heard anything back from the warranty people so i may be jumping the gun on this part, but what can i do if this gets declined. And what action can i take to get this invoice.

It was good service up to this point

Andy

p.s. Please move if in the wrong forum

Andy,

I had the same problem, and when i contacted Minden they told me that i would have to wait a couple of weeks as the actual warranty extension comes from Germany.
In the mean time i would contact Minden 01284 760791 ([email protected]) and tell them that you are having problems getting the invioce from THEIR agent.

I hope this helps

Did you purchase from the same people??

I just hope Minden accept the email i sent and don't need the inovice

Andy

Andy, i have now entered their phone number above. No i did not purchase mine from the same people but the warranty did take a long time to arrive.

Presumably you also can't reclaim your vat as they haven't provided the details.

Neil, Not Vat registered Mate, only a part time business and not earning enough yet :?

But it can't claim the whole amount back from the business without this invoice

Update.

Emailed Minden 10 days ago to explain to situation with not getting any invoice/proof of purchase for the festool items from Toolsave. They stated that they will be contacting toolsave to try and resolve this but still nothing.

Can i go any higher with this matter? any bodies I can contact to explain the poor service i'm getting?

Hold on to your money if you plan on using toolsave, i never will again

Trading standards?

Adam

Andy,

Have you tried writing them a real, in-an-envelope-with-a-stamp-and-everything letter? Maybe even Recorded Delivery to try and get the point across? Sometimes a physical piece of paper on a desk wins when an email or 'phone call gets forgotten.

Cheers, Alf
