Greetings all

This is my first post to this list, having only just discovered it thanks to Al Frampton. I'm enjoying perusing the sections, but of course will always come back to the handtools part. While here, I figured that would invite you to visit my web site, which is devoted to the ephemera of old tools, trades and industry. I just posted a plane makers price list from 1816. Apprently he lived near Nun-Gate Newcastle at the time.

This one has been sitting in my files for some time. After a fair amount of thought, I was able to come with a decent transcription from a so-so microfilm copy. Much thanks to Paul Womack for his assistance in securing this copy. And of course my thanks to the staff at the Tyne & Weare Archives Service for their efforts in digging this up from their stacks.

Just go to the What's New section of the site

Herewith is:

Apparently I ran afoul of an html ban of some sort? Well, if you just search toolemera in google or your search engine of choice, you'll find your way there. And if someone could appraise me of my transgression, I will be sure not to repeat it
