Hi all.
I appreciate others may not have the same experiance as me, but can I urge any of you thinking of using this company, to think very carefully before buying from them.

(to avoid any legal issues here, these are purely my own thoughts and comments!)

My first order, placed about 6 weeks ago, took 2 weeks to arrive, in 3 different consignments. OK, i thought, maybe they had problems, it's a one off.

So last week I placed another order for more glue. 8 days later,my card debited on order, I still have no goods. They do not answer e-mails or faxes. They no longer publish any phone number (Which is against the rules of the buying scheme they are members off). There is a phone number - an 0800 number, but it is now a fax line only.

I then did a search and discoverd on kelkoo, 7 other people who have complained of exactly the same problems as I have. There are also 3 on uk.diy (apparently, but I cant fully access them.).

Their sales blurb promises all kinds of communications and updates should there be a problem. Tripe!

So, please just bear my comments in mind...!

I have been ordering/buying on-line for about 6 years now - way before the current trend. I have to say these are one of the worst I have EVER personally come across!

Maybe it's the luck of the draw but I've ordered from them 5/6 times without any problems.

EDIT: Please see my later post. 'Recommendation' revoked.

I've used them once for a power tool with no problem. Was some time ago though.

Hi Guys
I had the misfortune to be attracted to these sharks via competitive pricing. Ordered and they took WEEKS to deliver...no phone calls answered, no emails responded to etc. Avoid at all costs.
Just my own personal experiences.
Take care and good weekend to one and all.
Regards,
Graham

15 different email addresses to contact them by and not a telephone number to be seen. Maybe the place is staffed my computers and electronic picking and packing machines? Save the expense of building toilets and showers etc. No water charges either.....

Doh!! Noel..your post just nudged my memory. I remember now...eventually trying to get their phone number ...and finally succeeding as I was chasing up a missing order  so my 'recommendation' is revoked

Ahh, a response, sort off. It would appear Noel that they do not have internal phones either...

Quote:- Please accept my apologies for the lateness of this reply we have had a huge problem with our email server and its spam filters that has meant a lot of emails being blocked. This has now been resolved and we should be back to normal.

Your email has been forwarded to Dave Rogers the warehouse manager [email protected]

He will come back to you as soon as possible with an answer
Ends>

So Even they have to communicate by e-mail then... Quite why they cantgive me an answer defeats me!
