Tingles for roofs

Hi

Tingles are the strips of metal used to fix slipped slates back to the battens.

Does anyone know if I can buy these ready made, using google I can't seem to find any.

If not I would prefer to make them from copper rather than lead. Where can I buy a small amount of thin copper sheet to cut up?

I'm in North Surrey but happy to mail order if required.

Should be able to get them from a decent builders merchants, can't think where I got the last ones I bought though, will come back to you.
