Anyone N.Lancashire/S.Cumbria/Yorkshie Dales and have a good source of Hardwood - both boards and Turning?

Plenty of trees around here, but no local supplies that I've found.

Have you tried doing a "Google Local" with the word timber?

This one appears in Chris's List. but not very near by the looks of it.
Don't know if any in my list are near enough, See Link Below.

Hi Scrums, if you can get a little further up, G&S Timber just off the M6 in Penrith could be well worth looking into.

I have never bought off them, so can't comment on price I'm afraid - and they are also one of my accounts, but their timber set-up/stockholding certainly impressed me.
