Hello all,

I was given a coffee table in return for making a client (my old man :D) a new one. He said it's Beech, but it looks like Oak to me. What is the general consensus?

TIA. _Dan.

The bottom pic is definitely oak, but not so sure about the two top ones. Couldn't work out what bit of the table they were, but, as an oldie, I would agree with your Dad about them being beech.
So perhaps everyone is right :)

The first 2 are the drawer fronts (therefore have a finish applied), the second 2 are the underside of the table top, as is the last one. -these don't have any finish applied.

I'm only asking as it's going on the 'Bay and I don't want to get dodgy feedback for missrepresenting the item in the description.

Cheers _Dan
