Three footed bowls

I made the Ash one just for fun finished it with teak oil and the yew one for a demo it has no finish just burnished

A tad more height with the feet might give a greater sense of lightness methinks

Couldn't tell you why but I have never liked the look of these things. Having said that, can't fault the work. Hope the yew doesn't do any nasties in the pith area. I have had a few suddenly crack recently, in fact one separated entirely right round the pith and fell out like a knot

Not sure if it is just the photo, but the bowl in the last two photos looks a lot nicer form than the bowl in the first two.
