60 years ago my Aunt had a Christmas tree with coloured bubble candles made from glass and heated by flat topped 20v bulbs in coloured candle holders. My cousin had kept the tubes even after the holders had broken and the bulbs (no longer available) had all died.
I designed and printed the base, stars & plaques in Tinkercad and printed via Astroprint, painted with Acrylics and spray varnished. The candles sit on 2 X heated glove inserts and are lit by an LED strip. Currently been running for 4 hours on a pocket USB backup battery.
Probably not very impressive to you guys but one of the most satisfying things I've done recently.
