You've seen the avatar so here's one or four pics of the planes. If your bib isn't tied up at the back to catch the drool, I suggest you make sure it's double knotted fairly smartly
Waka as we all know, is a fairly shy, retiring sort of bloke and wouldn't dream of the odd 'off the cuff, drive by gloat' here and there. Me and Pete had a run down to Dorset today and what do you know, those brass scratch stocks turn up everywhere
First pic shows the S&S planes together with Waka's two Norris smoothers, the second one being the Norris 'scrub' (cleaning cement off scaffolding boards and that sort of stuff) and the first is a real gem...an
unused smoother complete with box:
...and this pic shows another view from the other end of the bench:
and just to prove that the 2 thou mouth will produce shavings in Rosewood:
with the final shot of Waka's little shoulder plane, which Pete asked me to take a shot of (don't know why  ):
Martin was also there as well...many thanks for the gouge.
Incidentally, Waka mentioned in passing that this was the first time since Westonbirt that they'd been used. Fabulous - Rob
