I thought I'd share with you my current copy of The Woodworker. Post is so slow around I imagine some of you have already got your copy....
OK, ok. I have a reasonable collection of Woodworker copies from the 1940s and have a gleek through then from time to time. This is January 1948 and cost a shilling or 13 bob for 12 months subcription. And no, I did not buy this personally in 1948.
Highlight for this issue is the building and instructions on how to use a Plough Plane. So, I was thinking that if any of you Galoots are interested in seeing the plans for building the plane, drop me a line. Or if anybody wants a review or other article from the 40s let me know and I'll see if I have it.
