It's great that the security services are so good at foiling these attempts.....however, in a way, I wish they were not - because they have managed to so far stop any major events since 7?7, most people currently severely underestimate the level and nature of the threat against us from Muslim Terrorists.......so there is a groundswell of public opinion fuelled by the liberal media, that we don't need to stamp down hard on this kind of extremism and radicalisation that is going on in these communities, right under our noses. I have a family member in the police who was attached to counter terrorism for a while and know we should be seriously worried.........

Not really. The threat comes from a group who have been under violent attack from the west for a very long time. From pre-colonial times in fact. Many thousands of Muslims, Palestinians, Afghanis etc etc have been killed or dispossessed by the west. We just have to be grateful that they aren't as good at terrorism s the IRA! The Irish aren't muslim as a whole. Just thought I'd mention it as you probably didn't know.

Oh God...why did I have to go and have a peek at what old looney-leftie wrote. It seems to be the standard mantra of the loonie-left...the Americans are terrorists/drones/blah blah/police brutality/Mendendes/blah blah blah. I would love them to explain the causal link between, for example, American drone strikes and the murdering cretins who stormed the Kenyan shopping centre. Maybe there was a McDonalds inside it. Or the causal link between American drone strikes and the school being bombed in NIgeria the other day. Or the bombing of the Christians in that church. Nah..didn't think there was a causal link apart from, perhaps the febrile minds of Jacob and his ilk.
