Hopefully this will encourage some to take part in the October Challenge. This is my way of making a bangle, there is no added decoration, piercing or texturing but just the basic making of the bangle.

So there will ne excuse to have a go except if time is not on your side.

There's a similar method I've used in the past on my site

Be interesting to see after the judging if there were any other innovative ways of holding etc.
 
Thanks for the guide Dalboy. The process I used was also similar. I'll be entering for the first time this month.

Nice one. I don't have a band-saw so have to hack corners off by hand until the piece is as close to round as possible before mounting on the lathe.
I've only ever done a bangle once before, and used a jam chuck to reverse it so I could attack the other side.
